Some random Seesmic links…

Wednesday, December 12th, 2007

Kosso puts together a unique Seesmic RSS feed.

@seanpercival of Mahalo just twittered that w00t is the word of the year by Merriam-Websters dictionary. I only mention this because a few weeks ago I remember watching a passionate plea from Seth (The Obstructionist) in which he banned the word. :-) For more interesting links on this subject, check out the Mahalo page on the subject.

Hilarious sentence from Myles Eftos.

“Which brings me to the awful realisation that we, much like the way Viagra emails are an everyday part of ourlives, will just have to put up with this crap until the Internet self-implodes under the bloat of another loser posting a video diary to Seesmic under the misconception that anyone cares.”

But he does make a point about rights that I raised here.

Along with Vinvin and Johanne, Loic Le Meur, the CEO of Seesmic, is back in Paris for LeWeb3 which he organized. And I recently learned is mandatory english, which is very interesting. Interesting to me anyway. A Seesmic related video for that is here.

A Seesmic review from Victor Cajiao of Typical Mac User, a friend of mine from Orange County Podcasters.

New Loic.tv video. Giselle made me yawn at the end, but you have to watch to the end to get your own yawn.

And that is enough for now. I’m off to increase my interweblebrityness.

Seesmic on Mahalo

Monday, December 3rd, 2007

Sean P. from Mahalo just contacted me and let me know that Mahalo has a Seesmic page now.

Oh, what’s Mahalo. Well… “Mahalo is the world’s first human-powered search engine.” You can of course find out more at Mahalo.com.

I’m also posting a video with Jason Calacanis, the founder of Mahalo, talking with Loic Le Meur, the founder of Seesmic.

VinVin at the Winnies

Saturday, December 1st, 2007

As I was sprinting around the internet, I happened across this photo by Luis. It is a pic of VinVin and someone I recognize from Seesmic, but could not find her username in the river of videos that is the public timeline. UPDATE: Thank you Veronica for commenting. She informed me that the first picture (and one would presume the last as well) is of Eve Park from geekgirl.blip.tv. Thank you Veronica. And sorry about that Eve. :-) Now I will never forget.

btw, in case you don’t know, The Winnies is an awards show for online video creators. By the sounds of the Twitters, it is really just an excuse to get together, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.

UPDATE: Looks like another one, this time with Veronica Belmont from Mahalo Daily

And again, with someone I don’t know. Of course! This is Laura Howard from Prom Queen. :-) ::Thanks Vinvin::

And here we have Bonny Pierzina from Noodlescar. ::And again, thanks Vinvin::
